I am glad you made this important step in your journey of personal growth. Individuals can grow and change when they invest their time, have support and obtain tools. Whether your goal is to achieve greater self-awareness, build stronger personal relationships, heal past wounds, or just feel better about yourself, a therapeutic relationship can help meet your goal. I would like to join you on your journey as an advocate, partner and guide.

My passion is to care, encourage and empower the individuals I work with. I built my practice around the principles of non-judgement, self-determination, self-compassion and insight. I believe that personal growth is a lifelong endeavor and you can achieve the life you want. Therapy can help you to become the best version of yourself no matter what life challenges you may be experiencing. I'm here to support you in finding a new path in your life and to work with you to create and sustain a more rewarding, fulfilling and happy life.

I view the relationship between myself and clients as one of the most important contributors to therapeutic progress. Meaningful change requires a shift in perspective, and it is through a genuine therapeutic connection that a change in perspective can manifest. If you are ready to make a positive change in your life, I encourage you to take the first step by contacting Life's Waves Counseling!

I am a provisionally licensed professional counselor in the State of Wyoming. I have a Masters in Community Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska.

Before entering the counseling field, I was a math teacher for the local school district for six years. I believe that to get the most of your experience in therapy, it is essential to work with a counselor who emulates compassion and grace... and this is what I strive for in my work. When you step into my office, I want you to be able to fully express your feelings, beliefs, hardships, and hurts freely, knowing that I will help you find victory in your life.

In my personal life, I grew up outside of Cheyenne in a chaotic home environment. Due to this experience, I want to help my clients overcome their past so they can have a better and healthier future. I am married to my best friend, and he is the best man I know. He has shown me how to persevere over hardships, work hard to achieve goals, and love others well. We are proud parents, and I strive to achieve victory over my past so I can be the mother my children deserve.

My husband and I have walked through the death of our grandmas, loss of close relationships, a hard diagnosis, the divorce of my parents, a miscarriage, and much more. However, we cling to each other and our support systems to overcome these trials. I want my clients to know the power and strength that comes from dealing with and overcoming the trials that life brings.
